Spider-Man Revelations is the second slot to be themed around the web-slinger from Cryptologic. The first is entitled The Amazing Spider-Man, both of them are based on the comic book rather than the movies. The second entry is by no means of inferior quality, it manages to captivate players just as much as its predecessor. The slot is filled with features, bonuses, animations, acceptable graphics and good winnings.

Graphics

The game is composed of 25 lines and 5 reels, the symbols are placed on a white background with two, barely visible yellow New York cabs. By comparison to other Cryptologic Marvel slots, Spider-Man is not the best work from Cryptologic. This does not mean that the game looks bad but it tends to look a bit too stylized, the contours of the characters are exaggerated, the colors tend to be overly strong. The game looks as if it was rushed and is unpolished. This is also felt in the animations which tend to move too fast. Among the symbols you can find the usual 9, 10, J, Q, K, A you will also have the pleasure of finding Doctor Octopus, trains, Spider-Man himself, his logo, cracked safes and so on.

Symbols, Features and Jackpots

Spider-Man revelations is packed with features, bonuses and like all of the other games in the Branded series it has wild and scatter symbols. The wild symbol in this game is Spider-Man himself and he isn't to be trifled with, he will change all of the symbols, just not the scatter, so that you can be victorious. If five of these icons appear on an active line you'll win the top payout of 5,000 coins, which equates to $25,000 when betting the highest stakes.

The Spider-Man scatter symbol is the Spider-Man logo and it can trigger the following:

•  5 scatter symbols will give you 100 coins;
•  3 scatter symbols will trigger the Doctor Octopus feature.

In this feature the player is taken to the top of train where Doctor Octopus has a safe in his right tentacles and a person in his other tentacles. Doctor Octopus makes an offer to the player which can be accepted and rejected and the player will receive another offer. When the player accepts the offer the Doctor will through the passenger and the player has to accept it or reject it. In which case the last accepted offer becomes binding. This feature balances out the graphic minuses the slot has, due to its looks and music.
Coins in Spider-Man revelations can have a range from $0.01 up to $125. The game has a non-progressive jackpot of 5000 coins and it has three progressive jackpots:
